Kingfisher Louvres
Architectural photography and drone video showing KC120 Single bank screening louvres that were installed on the roof of the SEE building by Kingfisher Louvres’ customer, Metclad. The louvres are designed to screen the plant equipment on the roof whilst also providing ventilation and providing an aesthetic detail. The blades were supplied inverted (pointing upwards) and all the corners were provided as mitred blades. There are 9 Kingfisher louvred door sets within the louvre screens, with at least one door set on each elevation.
The SEE building is a multi-disciplinary hub for teaching, research and industry collaboration. It includes specialist laboratories, design studios and collaborative spaces. It will be home to robotics, built environment, civil engineering, computer science, natural science and the Morson Maker Space and is part of an ambitious campus masterplan.
