The Global Centre of Rail Excellence
On Thursday 20th March, the Global Centre of Rail Excellence held an Innovation in Railway Construction Demonstration Day in partnership with Innovate UK. The all-day event was held at the GCRE site in South Wales.
The event showcased twelve ground-breaking projects that have come through the £7.4m Innovation in Railway Construction Programme.
The programme is being funded by the UK Government’s Department of Business and Trade and organised by Innovate UK. GCRE hosted the competition on infrastructure developed at the GCRE site.
The day will included the opportunity to view technology developed through the programme and live installations.
