After more than two years documenting the ongoing construction and infrastructure works, it was fantastic to return to Birkenhead to photograph the completed highways improvements across the town centre and surrounding road network.
Long-term construction photography projects always offer a unique perspective. Having photographed the development from the earliest stages through to final completion, this commission provided the opportunity to visually tell the full story of a major infrastructure transformation in Wirral.
